Emanating the Elixir

“The art of meditation is how to make your questions disappear, not to give you an answer. The answer will bring new questions and there is no end to it. Meditation will leave you in a space where there is no question, no answer, but only a purity, a simplicity – the same that you had known when you were born. You were alive but there was no question. You were so full of wonder. Your eyes sparkled seeing a small thing.” – Osho

beginning

What a wonderful day,  greetings to you and your lovely family,  have a resplendent weekend with lots of love and happiness. Well, today, I am once again going to offer you some of the luminous quotes by renowned pedagogues of our time. Before I post them, I suggest you to read them thoroughly and thoughtfully so that you will be able to comprehend them easily and accrue the benefits for life, the reason why I said this is because some of the quotes are highly philosophic and they are true and pure facts of nature, there might be a possibility of inflicting definite bewilderment. So it is recommended to read them throughly in order to have a proper understanding. I believe after going through these quotes of the greats, you will be able to realize how mysterious and beautiful is the illusive power of the Almighty, illusive power is nothing but all for the cause of self realization by us of the Supreme, Infinite and the Eternal luminous Soul within and beyond everything (God).

(1)  If we can really understand the problem, the answer will come out of it, because the answer is not separate from the problem. – Jiddu Krishnamurti

(2) The enquiry `Who am I?’ means really the enquiry within oneself as to wherefrom within the body the `I’-thought arises. If you concentrate your attention on such an enquiry, the `I’-thought being the root of all other thoughts, all thoughts will be destroyed and then the Self or the Big `I’ alone will remain as ever. You do not get anything new, or reach somewhere where you were not before. When all other thoughts which were hiding the Self are removed, the Self shines by itself. – Sri Ramana Maharshi

(3) God is the creator of all, even of cosmic delusion; but it is man’s response to maya through the misuse of the divine gift of free choice that creates in him the sense of egoism and the desire to act according to its dictates and to enjoy the fruits of actions.

When man exercices discrimination and does not respond to cosmic delusion, he uses his free will rightly to choose only the influence of the inner divine wisdom. Thus he escapes the punishment that results from the false conviction of being an independent doer of actions. – Paramahansa Yogananda

(4) As its own seeds reach back the ankola tree, as a needle is drawn to a magnet, as a chaste wife remains with the spouse, as a creeper clings to a tree, and as the river merges in the ocean — if thought thus reaches the lotus feet of the Lord and remains there for all time, that is said to be devotion. – Adi Shankaracharya

(5) When you sit in a café, with a lot of music in the background and a lot of projects in your head, you’re not really drinking your coffee or your tea. You’re drinking your projects, you’re drinking your worries. You are not real, and the coffee is not real either. Your coffee can only reveal itself to you as a reality when you go back to your self and produce your true presence, freeing yourself from the past, the future, and from your worries. When you are real, the tea also becomes real and the encounter between you and the tea is real. This is genuine tea drinking. – Thich Nhat Hanh

(6) Temples or churches, books or forms, are simply the kindergarten of religion, to make the spiritual child strong enough to take higher steps; and these first steps are necessary if he wants religion. With the thirst, the longing for God, comes real devotion, real Bhakti. – Swami Vivekananda

(7) So if you feel this kind of thing of feeling a bit lost, feeling without reference, without dreams, without projection,… Don’t be afraid. Don’t think about it. Don’t try to figure anything out. You’re in the best hands. So you just rest in the lap of God. – Mooji

(8) The whole world is full of messages of love. We just need the eye to see and take them into our own lives. – Sri Sri Ravi Shankar

(9) One attains the vision of God only when Mahamaya steps aside from the door. What you need is the grace of Mahamaya. That is why God’s Power is worshipped. You see, God is so very near, and yet one does not know Him because Mahamaya stands between. – Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa

(10) The mind is a bundle of thoughts. But the source of all thoughts is the I-thought. So if you try to find out who this `I’ is, the mind will disappear. The mind will exist only so long as you think of external things. But when you draw it from external things and make it think of the mind or `I’ — in other words introvert it — it ceases to exist. – Sri Ramana Maharishi

(11) The Self looks like the world, but this is just an illusion. The Self is everywhere. One. Still. Free. Perfect. – Ashtavakra Gita (1.12)

(12) Meditation is nothing but withdrawing all the barriers, thoughts, emotions, sentiments, which create a wall between you and existence. The moment they drop you suddenly find yourself in tune with the whole; not only in tune, you really find you are the whole.
When a dewdrop slips from a lotus leaf into the ocean it does not find that it is part of the ocean, it finds it is the ocean. And to find it is the ultimate goal, the ultimate realization, there is nothing beyond it. – Osho

(13) You say you want to know your self. You are your self — you cannot be anything but what you are. Is knowing separate from being? Whatever you can know with your mind is of the mind, not you; about yourself you can only say: ‘I am, I am aware, I like It’. – Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj

(14) All the hatred with which we hate others is caused by the foolish ideas which we have imbibed since our childhood – good and evil. Our judgment of humanity becomes entirely false; we make this beautiful earth a hell; but as soon as we can give up good and evil, it becomes a heaven. – Swami Vivekananda

(15) Tears are far more beautiful than anything that you have with you, because tears come from the overflow of your being. Tears are not necessarily of sadness; sometimes they come out of great joy and sometimes they come out of great peace and sometimes they come out of ecstasy and love. In fact they have nothing to do with sadness or happiness. Anything that stirs your heart too much, anything that takes possession of you, anything that is too much, that you cannot contain and it starts overflowing – that brings tears.

Accept them with great joy, relish them, nourish them, welcome them, and through tears you will know how to pray.
Through tears you will know how to see. Tear-filled eyes are capable of seeing truth. Tear-filled eyes are capable of seeing the beauty of life and the benediction of it. – Osho

(16) Do not try to analyze what I’m saying to you. Do not try to come to any conclusions. For you’re using your mind to do this and it is the mind that has made you believe all of these things for all these years. Stop using your mind. Use your heart. Stop judging, condemning, coming to your own conclusions. For you are doing this in your own mind. Everything is alright just the way it is. Everything is perfect just the way it is. And now you know why? Because there is only one! One power! So everything has to be perfect. The one has no competition. There is not God and the devil. There is only God. – Robert Adams
